Maybe they do and I'm just missing it... IT always seems like we are wanting results faster than we are able to handle them.
Just watch some info-mercials or random commercials and the products they advertise. It is as though they show items that help the average bob or joe or rick or jim or clark. (I don't know why we always pick on joe to be average but the jones' we love cause they're wealthy). It's all good stuff, but maybe we are giving results faster than what they can bear or handle.
Why do I say that?
I think process is a good thing. IF we can take the time to see what is being developed, then we usually love the end result. Why have everything now, if we won't enjoy or even know how to enjoy it? Sometimes, we don't know what we are really made of til we experience process-oriented situations.
It tests our mental capacity, our physical capability and our spiritual stability.
to withdraw (a person, the affections, one's dependency, etc.) from some object, habit, form of enjoyment, or the like
so, from simply reading this definition, it sounds like weaning can be attributed to process.
Process=Time. Time can = irritation, frustration, annoyance or the opposite...excitement, anticipation, expectation.
I would say many of us are in a place now where process is being applied and we are having a tough time with it. IF you stick it, the end result ends up better than the start mold.
Have you ever seen those pottery artists? It's such a process to get the right shape, right look, right feel, right end-result! All the time in between was used to withdraw the likes and dislikes of the mold. Those people are dependant on their creativity to produce the best product, not their machines or hands so much.
ok, ok, ok too much talking.... stick with process! It may be uncomfortable, but it's necessary. Anticipate and Expect the best with the end result...don't be afraid or get down. Process makes you look up! In the end, you only rejoice :)
Random Fact:
The state fish of Hawaii is the humuhumunukunukuapua’a. The Hawaiian name roughly translates to “the fish with a pig-like nose”. It’s English name is the Reef Triggerfish.
