(click on comic...it's funny!)Claude M. Bristol: "We usually get what we anticipate."
Have you ever thought to yourself what in the world it means to have expectation?
OK, wait! Let's just take a step back and figure out what expectation is.
Webster, tell us what this is:
1. the act or state of expecting. Anticipation
2.assurance
3.prospects of inheritance, usually used in plural
do you want a sentence for this word? This is mainly for those that are in spelling bee sort of mindset. "They have every expectation of success."
So does it make sense now?
There's much that can be said and taught about having expectation, but let me sum it up in one sentence: Don't think anything will happen in any sort of manner unless you have expectation!
Many times we hope for something good to happen but really all we do in our minds is go about thinking,
"Whatever happens, happens!"
Usually, whatever happens will end up happening and it ends up not being good. There are things in everyday life that are unpredictable, but we can't go on through life living in randomness and a carefree attitude. :)
Earl Nightingale:
"We as human beings tend to live up to our expectations."
Brian Tracey:
"Your attitude is an expression of your values, beliefs and expectations."
Change your attitude TODAY!
Live with expectation!
Anticipate something gooooooood to happen!
See how it changes your day
Let me know,
till then
Much love,
