Invest
I want your comments on what you think investment is
Hey J! You switched up on us today! What does investment mean? Do you want the Webster’s Dictionary translation lol or what I honestly think? Basically what I think investment is...is when you give something of value (money, time, etc) with an expectation of a return on the item that you invested. If I'm investing money...I'm expecting a profit, If I'm investing time in getting to know someone or mentoring them...I'm expecting a friendship to flourish etc. Those are my initial thoughts so I really want to see what you will post! Have an awesome day!
Investment:•investing: the act of investing; laying out money or capital in an enterprise with the expectation of profit •money that is invested with an expectation of profit •the commitment of something other than money (time, energy, or effort) to a project with the expectation of some worthwhile result
Those were some web definitions with which I agree for the most part... My own words: An investment is something or someone into which you place time, effort,or both with hopes of reaping a harvest of some kind. The harvest may not benefit you but there should be one none-the-less, EXCEPT for in the case of a bad investment.
